Trust Your Intuition

Trust your intuition! It’s much smarter than you think…

How many times have you made a decision and changed your mind, only to learn that it was not the right decision? We all have done it many times. Trusting your intuition does not have to be mystical or unexplainable, but when you second-guess your decisions and ignore your “gut feelings,” you often regret those decisions. Being perceptive and intuitive about your decisions generally leaves you with fewer regrets!

Human Abilities

“A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.   Specialization is for insects.”   — Robert Anson Heinlein

Steve Jobs Quote

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”   — Steve Jobs

Why has “aging” developed such a dreaded reputation, as if there is no alternative to growing older? Aging is invaluable!

The wisdom, the experience, and the insight that comes with age is unparalleled. “Growing older” should be celebrated — not shunned or avoided, because beauty is not “exclusively external.” Beauty has valuable internal qualities!

I believe aging is the ultimate “blessing” because when you’re older, you qualify to share the wisdom, the knowledge, and the experience from 50, 60, 70+ years of living…

It’s true, many things change as you age,  and yes, some things go swiftly down hill; but when you mature, embrace change, and stay the course, you succeed at living; and that is worth a celebration!

Things May Be Different…

Why believe, or allow yourself to be influenced by things you hear? Don’t you agree that some things deserve a second opinion, or a closer look because the reality may be far different than what you have heard?

Often times things are quite different than they appear at first glance.

So gather your own data, and arrive at your own conclusions about people, places, and things in your life!
